The Omega watch brand is a watchmaking house that originated in 1848 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, founded by the master watchmaker Louis Brandt. It was here that this watchmaker assembled local watch parts for later sale. Although later, after his death, his children took up the business again but this time with their own pieces.
